Books You Might Like Too

Books I Recommend…..an ongoing list

“Don’t Sweat the Small Stuff” series  Richard Carlson, PH.D.
This is a great series! Includes “at Work”, “for Parents”, and “in Love”  written with his wife Kristine Carlson  (Kristine Carlson also wrote “Don’t sweat small stuff for Women”)
“The Happiness Project”    Gretchen Rubin
Awesome, Awesome, Awesome book!  Great idea!
“My So-Called Life as a Proverbs 31 Wife”   Sara Horn
“The Good Wife’s Guide: Embracing Your Role”   Darlene Schacht
Both books offer an interesting perspective for those of us who were not 100% familiar with a “Proverb’s 31 Wife”.  Also,  Darlene Schacht has a great site: The Time-Warp Wife
“Replay”   Ken Grimwood
Awesome book about second (third, fourth) chances.  What would you do differently?
“The Book of Awesome”  Neil Pasricha
Definitely a “clap out loud”!
“An Exact Replica of a Figment of My Imagination”  Elizabeth McCracken
Very humbling and  truly an inspiration, you may need kleenex.
“Holstee Manifesto” Dave Radparvar, Mike Radparvar and Fabian Pfortmuller    Not a book, but worth mentioning here–Love, love, love this!!!  If I could tatoo this on myself I would!  I will just have to settle for a poster ( a WALL!)! Did I mention how much I LOVE this!! And the backstory is AWESOME!!

      1. And definitely have a hankie handy! This book reminds me of Annie Dillard. I loved Pilgrim at Tinker Creek. She has such a unique way of describing and seeing the world. As does Anne Voskamp. I read Pilgrim years ago and still find myself seeing things through her eyes every now and then.
